What are the key attributes of a strong leader? What kind of training would facilitate development of individuals to perform leadership roles in today’s complex environment?

A strong leader should listen to everyone in the group, and take into account the ideas of everyone, not just himself or herself. That also means they should be selfless. Discussion is great in groups, so the leader would have to be organized and able to hold an entire discussion, letting everyone participate.
Personally, I think a leader is someone who helps an entire group come to a decision, or helps the groups work together, instead of someone who does all the work and comes up with the final idea.
